4 sided shapes general info

Hey guys it is Casey back here again with yet another post where I am in Math's for a change where I must tell you guys facts about basic shapes in Math's. So let's see how well this goes.

Square PNG Square: This can be described as a shape with multiple sides of equal length whose angles are all 90 degrees. If you were to draw a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite then you will see that all diagonals are equal as well as the lengths and angles.

Shape Rectangle Icon | IconExperience - Professional Icons » O-CollectionRectangle: This is very similar to a square but with one key difference, not all the lengths are equal. two of the sides are one length while the other two are either larger or smaller. All of the angles are still 90 degrees each. The diagonals are also equal for this shape as is the case with most quadrilaterals.

Equilateral: This is not a shape itself and more of a description of a set of shapes. An equilateral is a shape with all of its sides being of equal length. So squares and triangles fit into this category nicely.

Quadrilateral: This is like an equilateral in that it describes a series of shapes and not one single shape. This is different to equilateral through the fact that it describes any four sided two dimensional shape meaning that if it has four sides and does not exceed 3 dimensions then it is a quadrilateral.

Rhombus Icon of Line style - Available in SVG, PNG, EPS, AI & Icon fontsRhombus: This is a shape that has 4 equal straight sides and often takes the shape of a diamond but it can be said that a square is a Rhombus as well. The only real difference is the fact that a square has all of its angles at 90 degrees whereas a Rhombus does not. It has equal diagonals as well as most quadrilaterals but they would be vertical and horizontal on this example above this text.

The most downloaded Trapezium icons from AugustTrapezium: This shape can be described as a four sided shape with one pair of parallel lines and no more. Basically think a triangle but without the tip and you are on the right track.

Parallelogram shape rounded corners - Transparent PNG & SVG vector fileParallelogram: This is a shape with 2 pairs of parallel lines whose angles are not right angles. There is also no line of symmetry like with most shapes on a parallelogram.

Anyway I hope you guys all enjoyed this post and I will see you all in the next one bye bye

Newsletter practice

Hey guys Casey back here again in English (big shocker I know) where I have another writing practice but it is a newsletter this time instead of an email. So I hope you all enjoy what I have written.

Newsletter August 2020

Hello customers

We here at Stanley Organics Ltd want to stop polluting the environment with plastic and so we have made a new plastic recycling scheme in order to help change the way customers buy everyday products.

How do we intend to do this you may ask.

1. All plastic bags are now replaced with hessian bags made from flax and hemp fibers. The first bag will be free with purchases over $50, or we will provide recycled cardboard boxes and help carry to your car if you request.

2. Most liquid products including liquid soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, etc are now available in "fill your own" containers. Bring your own container to fill and receive a 5% discount.

3.Instead of plastic bags, try reusable waxed cotton bags to keep your vegetables fresh.

If you have any ideas for future improvements on our scheme then please send them our way as we want to help the environment as much as anyone and we can't do that without customer feedback.

Kind regards
Judith and Barry Sampson

Internal correspondence 2

Hey guys it is Casey back here again with yet another post where I am in English (big shock) doing another email practice and I will be writing an email with instructions for the fire drill. I hope you guys enjoy.

From: Meg McCarthy
To: All staff
CC: Admin
Date: 05/08/2020
Subject: Fire evacuation procedures

Hello everyone

A fire drill was recently acted upon as per company policy and was met with mixed results. We hope that the following instructions will clear up any confusion as to Fire drill procedures.

1.All staff must leave the building when the alarm goes off.
2.Any form of exit to the car park must be clear of any obstacles at all times, especially the emergency exit which was cluttered during the drill.
3. The assembly point is the main car park.
4.Once you have assembled at the car park, you are not to leave until given the all clear.

We hope that these instructions have cleared up any confusion regarding fire evacuation procedures and we hope it will go far better than it did earlier this week.

Cheers

internal correspondence 1

Hey guys it is Casey back here again with yet another post where today I am in English writing a practice review for my upcoming assessment so I hope you will all enjoy.

Re: New recycling system

As per your request for the review of the new waste disposal method, please find the following information below

  • staff have been happy regarding the new system implemented
  • the system is being used mostly correctly aside from a few confusions
  • there are a few staff members who consider it a waste of time but do follow the rules
  • the food bin is not being emptied enough and is reeking a non desirable smell
In conclusion the few things that I would recommend fixing would be that the food bin is emptied more often than what it currently is. Add a note to each bin with examples of each item to avoid any future confusion. Aside from those few things, The system is working as it should be.

Dear Mr Sampson

Thank you for your email on (3rd May 2016). We are very sorry for the way you were treated by our staff.

We do not accept this behavior from our staff. The staff member in question has been given a formal warning because of this. They have also been given further customer service training to help prevent this from happening in the future.

Included with this letter is a $50 voucher that can be spent in any department of our store. We hope that you consider shopping with us again in the future.

Kind regards,

Art 2020 term 3 update

Hey guys it is Casey back here yet again with yet another post and sorry for it being so long since the last post but I just have not been needing to do it until today so what I am doing is just an update here is art as we head into term 3
This here is my current progress for my folio and I have my logo done with only two characters to design along with a poster and debut cover.
For context, this is meant to be a comic book company like DC and MARVEL.

My current next step is character designs where I am having a dragon and a man and I am currently working on the dragon as you can see in the bottom left of the panel. I will make face on versions of all of those concepts and then I will have a page of various poses and a final design to finish it off.

I will do the same for the man which will then complete the character creation section of the brief that I have set myself.

This is my checklist as I see that I have done throughout the year.

In terms of what is working and what is not, I find that my plan of how to present this that I have in my mind is working so far with it being concept, iterate, and final.
The stuff that is not working for me is practically non existent as I cant think of anything that is not working in the moment of writing this so I am not to worried as of yet.
My next step right now is to finish off the dragon concepts by the end of this week to next week so I can get on with drawing the human character for my design folio.

Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I shall see you all in the next post bye bye.

Art 2020

Hello and welcome back to my blog posts for the year 2020 and right now i am currently in art and I will be explaining my visual arts planning/course.

My visual arts course this year is based upon design. This is mostly because I enjoy designing stuff and I think that as long as I have a clear idea in my head then this will hopefully not be all that much of a challenge for me as i prefer to use mediums that I am comfortable with instead of those of which I am unfamiliar with. This, I feel like I can communicate the ideas rattling in my brain most effectively. My theme that I have chosen is Personal development/well-being. I have chosen this as it is something that I think I can communicate in a way that I can incorporate a lot of meaning while also applying my interests and thought process to each piece. I also think that personal development is something that we all strive to achieve in life for a variety of reasons,to each their own, and with that I think that I can develop pieces that communicate ideas like that in a way that is both meaningful and amazing. I have also chosen this theme as I think that it is something that I can work with throughout an entire year. I have gone through and taken a look at all the artists in my theme from the  matrix and created my mood board as you can see

At this point in my work I have selected Beatriz Milhazes,Saul Bass and Maui Studios as my Artist models for 2.1. These artists will also help me out with 2.2 as the start of my folio. My kaupapa based on this theme is looking like this:
