Hey guys it is Casey back here again with another post where today I am in maths doing the second geometry task that I mentioned a few posts ago.anyway the idea behind this one is to identify classes of 2 & 3 dimensional shapes by their geometric properties, so I decided to do flash cards with 2d shapes on one set along with their 3d counterparts on the other set.
←This is what I did
Basically, think of them like a shape trading card game like magic the gathering or yu gi oh.
also, the learning plan I did is right down there↓

Learning Plan

Identify classes of 2 and 3-dimensional shapes by their geometric properties
Content to learn
(What will need to know first)
What shapes I am Doing-e.x square/sphere/diamond/pyramid etc

triangle/square/diamond
Image result for 8 multiple intelligence

What Multiple Intelligences will I use (Circle one or more)
Body smart
What am I learning
(Tick one, or add something!)

  • Thinking
  • Relating to others
  • Using symbols and texts
  • Managing Self
  • Participating and Contributing

Something else?
    l
Where will I get my info

(How will I learn this? You can use more than one source! Eg Mr Carter, books, YouTube, KhanAcademy, etc)
The archive in my head
How I will demonstrate my learning

You could make something, do something, write a blog post, create a video game, make a poster, teach a concept, etc

flashcards
Resource List
What you will need (you may need to ask first!)

Team/ group names/ Roles
Casey/everything
Reflection/ Learning overview/ Next steps
What have you taken away from this? What would you change?

I would add a bunch more shapes if I had the time and a bit more info about them but other than those I am happy with them

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this post so please be sure to share this with your family and friends and I will see you all in the next post-bye-bye.
