So to explain this I simply made a quick little drawing to put the problem into practice which you can see down below
This is a quick little guide to the pythagorean theorem for the long and short side of a right angle triangle.
These equations help figure out what x is and this is good if you are measuring say how long of a rope you need to connect those 2 points together₂
Long side
C x
B 3
A 4
₂ ₂ ₂
c=a+b
₂ ₂
x=4+3
= 16+9
= 25 .
= ]25 = 5
answer = 5
Short side
B 3
C 7
A x
a=c-b
₂ ₂ ₂
x=7-3
=49-9
=40
= ]40 =6.3
answer=6.3
Basically the idea of this is that you can always figure out the unknown sides length with 2 of the sides lengths.Anyway that is it for today and I hope you guys enjoyed so please share with your family and friends while also dropping a comment down below and I will see you all in the next post bye bye.
Hey Casey I like that your post is short next time could you explain it a bit better please it is really confusing and I'm lost reading it also maybe include SOH CAH TOA? (it helps) also can you fix your words going off the side it is annoying. but other than that it is good.
ReplyDeleteHey Casey I like what you did here but i was having a but of trouble understanding it and again the text is going over the page. But other that I like it.
